The room of special history is a site specific installation that draws its inspiration from Romanian psychology. The room presents the major life events of the Neptune Battle’s initiator in an ironic and psychoanalytic key. Thus in this room the viewer can immerse in the blue universe of different maps of family history. Right at the entrance, marked with (1), the visitors can read the following text: ,,The place where the Neptune Battle’s initiator was born”. Moving to the next island, the visitor could understand the family context of the initiator: (2),,The place where the mother of the person who initiated the Neptune Battle murdered her neighbour because he had built 1 m of fence on her family’s land”. Another island comes with another significant episode: (3),,The place where the initiator of the Neptune Battle was slapped by a stranger without understanding why”. The last island focused on the begging of the assailant’s criminal past: (4),,The first attestation of a similar conflict initiated by the same person. The conflict started because someone skipped the line”. In the room the visitors were invited to sit in two beach chairs, thus having different angles to look at the painting on the ceiling. In the left corner of the room, on a pile of sand, there was the symbol of the battle – a ceramic figure called Neptune. A mixture between a Chinese dragon and a dog, the figure’s symbolic purpose was to bring an alter-ego of the viewer into the scene. Neptune has a positive attitude and the viewer can also have a different perspective of the object but also of the entire room depending on the place in the room the viewer choses to be.
