Neptune Battle/ Weapons is an installation that draws its inspiration from Romanian psychology. The weapons, a collection of ceramic objects, take an ironic look at the usual beach objects that can change their destination in case of a conflict. All the objects have to do with the Romanians’ beach habits. The text of the installation follows the anthropological discourse presenting the weapons discovered at the battlefield: beach shoes (some contorted due to violent use), corn cobs eaten (in Romania eating hot corn on the beach is a tradition), ice cream, broken beer bottle. The entire exhibition follows a red thread of constantly increased humour and satire in the face of absurd conflicts.
